The equipment uses the principle of photoelectric colorimetry, measuring the absorbance of colored solutions at specific wavelengths to calculate the concentration of hydrazine. When a beam of monochromatic parallel light passes through a colored solution, part of the light energy is absorbed by the solution. If the thickness of the liquid layer remains unchanged, the degree of light absorption (extinction) is proportional to the concentration of colored substances in the solution. Therefore, by measuring absorbance, the hydrazine content in water samples can be indirectly determined, enabling real-time monitoring. This monitoring method offers high sensitivity, ease of operation, and low cost, making it suitable for various scenarios requiring online monitoring of hydrazine concentration.
