The principle of the total copper online monitor is mainly based on the spectrophotometry of bicyclohexanone oxalohydride. By using citrate as a masking agent, it effectively masks interference from iron and cobalt ions in the water sample, and a buffer is added to adjust the pH of the sample to an appropriate range. Then, a coloring agent is added to the water sample, and copper ions in the sample react with the coloring agent to form a blue complex. The instrument measures the absorbance of the blue complex at a wavelength of 610nm and accurately calculates the concentration of copper ions in the water sample, enabling online monitoring of total copper content.
