According to the national standard GB/T 6909-2008, the water hardness determination testing uses advanced and precise quantitative devices, multi-channel solenoid valves, powerful and stable PLC controllers, and independently developed photometric endpoint determination detectors, achieving full automation of the water hardness testing process. The automatic titration system slowly adds EDTA solution to the water sample using a precision metering device, following a preset program. During titration, the system automatically adds an indicator to observe color changes, uses optical sensors to detect color intensity and determine the endpoint of color change, and determines the concentration of calcium and magnesium ions in the water sample based on the consumed test dose, thereby determining the water hardness.
